Update: Boulder Shelter for the Homeless season

After extending their season an extra night due to cold weather, the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless closed their emergency shelter for the winter season the night of May 1. Morning Services, which includes breakfast, showers, access to laundry facilities, mail, and phone messages—are available from 6am until 8am, seven days a week, year-round. No advance registration is required. The Transition Program will remain open during the summer months.

BOHO will remain open based on weather for as long as needed into the spring and summer. If the temperature drops below 32 deg F and its dry or below 38 deg F and its wet, BOHO will open an emergency warming center. (The number of folks seeking shelter at the emergency warming center the night of May 2 jumped significantly given that the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless was closed.)
