BOHO is a non-profit agency that offers emergency services to the homeless through emergency warming centers in partnering faith communities. During the winter months, BOHO has been open almost every night this season providing a warm, safe place for people to sleep since the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless has been near or at capacity starting in November. (You can read the latest statistics in the right column on this page.) Operating with very little overhead, BOHO is very fortunate to have many volunteers and to receive support through donations of dollars, food and goods.
At the end of December and January, BOHO has been able to open emergency overflow day centers since the Carriage House Community Table is too small to accommodate the number of people needing day shelter. This is possible because of the six faith communities who open their facilities to folks who need a place to get out of the weather and with the financial support of the City of Boulder.
If you would like to support BOHO with a financial donation, please mail a check to:
P.O. Box 1393
Boulder, CO 80306
If you have food, coats, boots, hats, gloves, blankets that you would like to donate, you can drop them off at an emergency warming center (the schedule is at the top of this page or you can call 303.605.8919 to find the location on any given day) or you can email.
Thank you for your interest in supporting the work of BOHO in building community and providing emergency shelter for those in need.
